Resolution

You should also be looking for a resolution of HD 1080P and a LED back-lit LCD screen to ensure that it can be properly viewed even on the brightest of days and has the minimum of electricity consumption.

Make It Safe

You will need to make sure that any installation is completely weatherproof including the cables, the speakers, the connections and that it is entirely protected by a circuit breaker (RCD unit). This type of installation is not recommended as a DIY job and you should ensure that you choose a reputable supplier who uses professionally qualified electricians.

Security

One thing you will need to consider is the risk of theft of these very expensive pieces of kit. I would not recommend them for use in areas not covered by your CCTV system and would really look to site them in as secure a position as possible. You will need to consult your insurance company about the installation of outdoor TVs as your existing insurance policy may not cover this risk.
