CUT THROAT
Perfect for those times when there are three of you wanting to play pool at the same time or for three teams to play
The name Cut Throat doesn’t adequately convey the ruthless character required for the game.
This is a game played with numbered balls.
Decide by whatever means which player/team is going to go first, second and last.
Player/team one gets to choose which balls will be their: numbers 1 through 5, 6 through 10, or 11 through 15. Player/team two gets their choice of the remaining two groups, and the third player/team gets whichever group is left.
Whoever has at least one ball from his group on the table when all the other balls are pocketed is the winner. The object, in other words, is to pocket your opponent’s balls.
This is a game of strategy as well as traditional pool skills thus, you’ll want to snooker yourself in unsinkable positions as often as you can, all the while indiscriminately ridding the cloth of your opponents’ balls.
