Contracts of Employment (page 7)

  1. DATA PROTECTION

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 by signing this Contract you are authorising the company to compile, process and maintain such personal records concerning you as the company deems necessary for the proper conduct of its business and/or the performance of this Contract. You acknowledge that this may include sensitive personal data.

  1. COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS

There are no collective agreements which directly affect the terms and conditions of your employment. [You may inherit a ‘unionised’ work force, in which case their original contract of employment will provide details of any collective agreement in place, and your contract will need to reflect them]

  1. DEDUCTIONS

For the purpose or Part II of the Employment Rights Act 1996 you hereby authorise the company to deduct from your pay any sums which you may owe the company including, without limitation, any excess holiday, insufficient notice, any overpayments or loans made to you by the company or losses suffered by the company as a result of your negligence, breach of authority or breach of the employers rules.
